End-to-End File Encryption

Every file uploaded by a client is encrypted at rest using AES-128-CBC + HMAC-SHA256 (Fernet). Each company holds its own unique data key, itself encrypted by a master key held separately from the data. A breach of the hardware or the server exposes nothing — files remain ciphertext until decrypted by an authenticated, connected user who holds the key.

All client files and accounting data are stored exclusively on servers located in Switzerland, subject to Swiss data protection law (nDSG / LPD).
